for more information. Trails Committee The Ramara Trails Committee was formed out of community minded citizens who wished to pursue a Trail system along the old CN rail line in Atherley. Since their inception this dream has become a reality and 5 km of Trail have been developed in the Atherley/Rama Rd corridor. The Trail Committee continues to identify ways to improve the Trail and new trail opportunities within the Township. Committee members have a strong minded interest in Trail development and environmental procedures and serve for the entire term of Council.The Committee meets at the call of the chair or when funding applications need to be reviewed. Youth Committee
Mission Statement The Ramara Youth Committee will seek to enrich the lives of the youth of Ramara Township by identifying important youth related issues by direct communication with Ramara youth and empowering youth to make positive changes for the future. The Committee is made up of 3 adult and 3 youth members from Ramara Township who serve for the entire term of Council. Subcommittees will be formed to deal with event planning (ie dances) run by the Committee. Meetings are held the 3rd Monday of the month at the Ramara Centre Boardroom @ 7:00 pm.
